I do feel that all the ideas Christians have about people getting over their issues does not work if correcting emotions is not part of the process.
wayocross – I ask that we consider that the “Law is King” because the Law Maker is God Himself. Our country can only survive if we remember our roots and the very basis of our Common Law. In Common Sense (January 1776) Thomas Paine reminded the American colonists that in a free republic “ the law is king”.
The key in all of this is that the righteous (blood bought disciples of Jesus Christ) will suffer at the hands of people who are fully vested in this life; whereas we should strive to be fully commited to Jesus Christ.
There is nothing more important in the life of a Christian or in the life of a church . But unfortunately a lot of time spent in prayer is not properly focused.
The two most intimate settings in a person’s life is their family and their place of work. In the case of the home the husband is the accountable person to God for ther family.
Our attendance at church or our taking of communion does not make us a Christian.
What happened to wayocross you might ask. I had heart surgery for a leaking heart valve. That was the easy part. The recovery and rehab were the hardest. Also not helped by my attitude. If I felt better I’d finish this post – but I don’t feel better […]
The attached Work Sheets were developed for my own Bible studies. Later more and more sheets were added for prayer. These tools have helped me and others at my church.
Jesus describes how the Comforter/Holy Spirit, God, and Jesus Himself are in constant communication with each other. But the real question is if we’re tuned in to this conversation. Often we’re like the car radio on a long trip and each station we tune in grows fainter as we distant ourselves from the radio tower.
all too often Christians do count the cost. The cost of their time, their priorities, their vulnerability, their emotional energy, is too great
