Walking the mall today I saw a mother and her two daughters with their eyes glued to their phones. That’s because it’s safer to just say anything about anybody on social media without having to deal with a reaction; even if it’s family.
This is a hot-button issue for me. I will add more posts on this topic under the tag Cohabitation. While my wife and I have not had a perfect marriage – we’ve had an improving marriage. And joining a Bible believing church was the step in the right direction.
Biblically “moral” and compassionate Christians do enjoy greater satisfaction in their lives. This is beccause they enjoin a synergy with the Creator of our existence.
I suggest that this is the only avenue to the continued success of the American Experiment. Otherwise that’s all that we would have ever been.
Satan’s lies always try to get us to think we’re in charge and don’t need the One who created us. Notice Adam, who walked with God, sat passively by even though he had also known they shouldn’t eat the forbidden fruit.
When I take a closer longer look I start to wonder what is it that I really see? Is there a story behind this picture? Or is there simply a story within the picture, unintended by the family that put it up.
From a Christian point of view the bad actions of some don’t justify bias against the person or the group they’re in. Like Jesus, Christians should be the ones that reach out to bad actors.
I believe emotional discipline is as important as physical and spiritual discipline. Just proposing physical and spiritual healing like building a two-legged stool. Not one I would stand on to clean windows.
I have advised women to get out of emotionally abusive relationships. Separated or divorced – the woman shouldn’t take him back if he’s only sorry for himself. The husband could have genuine remorse.
