Just As I Am

It is the worth of Jesus alone that allows us to come with all of our faults to be lifted up before God and named as an heir to the Kingdom of Heaven

Sermon on the Mount

These are the statements from Jesus that are all counter-intuitive. Men especially would have trouble with these statements; unless they’re Christian. Even then, the nature of men, in general, would have trouble following most or at least some some of what Jesus stated to His Disciples

Temporary Circumstances

We cannot understand our present troubles until we trust in God and give our concerns up to God.  Then we need to trust in God’s timetable and be ready to accept what He sends our way.  If a person has made bad choices or been the victim of crime, there may indeed be consequences that may change their current circumstances permanently.  Still we need to trust.  Don’t abandon the ship before God gives a solution.
