Many people are involved with churches because of what it means to them. God’s got their backs, even when tragedy strikes. God is good and they’re forgiven.
I have written before about the lack of civility in our country. And this is really a topic that is close to my heart. This issue is based on how we communicate (not)!
The key in all of this is that the righteous (blood bought disciples of Jesus Christ) will suffer at the hands of people who are fully vested in this life; whereas we should strive to be fully commited to Jesus Christ.
There is nothing more important in the life of a Christian or in the life of a church . But unfortunately a lot of time spent in prayer is not properly focused.
I think there are a great number of shortfalls in the characters of American men. But first I’m going to try to define what a Godly man should look like. And I’m going to be honest and not use myself as an example.
Agape’ love is selfless, sacrificial, unconditional love. It is the highest of the four types of love in the Bible. This Greek word, agápē, and variations of it are frequently found throughout the New Testament. Agape’ perfectly describes the kind of love Jesus Christ has for his Father and for His followers.
Charity can be equated to agape’ love. This kind of love is aid and comfort given to someone without qualification. Churches often fall short of this because as individuals they expect to receive appreciation. But that would be qualifying the nature of the recipient.
The “Law of Sin and Death” relies on us to maintain our own individual morality. So we depend on the flesh controlling the flesh. From the outside that may look successful. But it falls short of perfection, which is the standard under the law.
There are two exceptional people in the Bible known for their dreams. One is the best known dreamer and one the least known dreamer.
