wayocross

wayocross has been a part of several ministries that involved men. He's aware of the many pit falls that men face including himself. He was born with a cleft palate and a speech impediment and as a result empathizes with men who have lost their way. He also recognizes that men being "self-sufficient" are often the last to know that they weren't. As a former leader in four churches and children's Sunday School teacher and children's tutor he sees the tragic future many youth face based on their own bad decisions learned from their parents (loosely interpreted). He believes scripture can be applied to most of the "hurts, habits, hang-ups, and addictions* that men face. * terminology borrowed from Celebrate Recovery ministry founded by John Baker at Saddleback Church in California.

Family Revival

Recently I discovered in Psalm 101 a prayer that is directed at a nation that is in danger from corrupting influences of deserting the disciplines that have made our nation great. And I believe the family is our (and God’s) most sacred institution.

Agape’ Love

Agape’ love is selfless, sacrificial, unconditional love. It is the highest of the four types of love in the Bible. This Greek word, agápē, and variations of it are frequently found throughout the New Testament. Agape’ perfectly describes the kind of love Jesus Christ has for his Father and for His followers.

Distorted Capitalism

In their system everyone started off equal albeit some were indentured servants who still had oppotunities ahead of them once they completed their service. The freedom they enjoyed gave them great […]
